A single day was all it took for each of these 2 CiBAS WHRU’s to be mechanically fitted onto the existing Balder FPSO as part of the life extension project. Designed and manufactured to stringent NORSOK standards, these 2 thermally sprayed aluminium coated systems, will endure the harsh conditions off the shores of Norway and be recovering energy for many years to come.
Working as the EPC for Var Energy, Rosenberg Worley placed the order on CiTECH in 2020 for these two CiBAS WHRU, which minimised the space and weight requirements offshore whilst still delivering the performance required. – AW20230210.
