CiTECH, working with Nymo AS in Norway, have supplied 2 CiBAS C60 units and associated ducting which have been retrofitted onto the Maersk Inspirer jack-up rig. The CiBAS units are designed to be cold case and to run dry, recovering a combined total thermal duty of 28.6MWth through a water/glycol system from two Solar Titan 130 Gas Turbines.
The units provided more duty, had a smaller footprint and less mass than the existing conventional WHRU they replaced. The units were provided in compliance to NORSOK standards. Both units were lifted onto the platform and mechanically installed within 1 day.
