Following on from the success of the 3 units installed on the Tahiti spar platform, Chevron ordered a further 3 similar units for their Anchor platform destined for the Gulf of Mexico.
Like the systems on the Tahiti , these units are ingeniously inverted – with the gas flow entering the WHRU from the top and exhausting through the base enabling the units to be cantilevered off the side of the spar platform to greatly reduce the weight and lower the centre of gravity.
