Reducing Carbon Emissions,
One Solution at a Time

In view of a future sub-sea tieback, Petrofac commissioned CiTECH to conduct an engineering feasibility study into the upgrading of existing WHRU equipment on the Piper Bravo platform in the North Sea Marigold field.

Following the order for the first CiBAS WHRU, Solar subsequently placed a further order with CiTECH for an identical CiBAS WHRU.

Capitalizing on this achievement, ONGC bestowed CiTECH with the privileged task of supplying an additional WHRU unit for their Onshore Gas Plant.

CiTECH will soon fit a number of CiBAS C45 units along a multi-billion-dollar pipeline transporting natural gas to Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The world’s largest deepwater oil field will soon see the arrival of the Petrobras operated P-78 FPSO. Assisting to reduce C02 as well as save energy, Siemens Energy contracted CiTECH to supply 4 large Waste Heat Recovery Units (WHRU) on the power modules for this Brazil bound vessel.

Due to the particular sour properties of the GT exhaust gas on this platform, CiTECH have designed the heat exchanger with a parallel flow section as well as a counter flow section. This is to avoid the possibility of any acid condensation on the heat exchanger pipes.
